I am oh-so proud of this one.
It's a documentary film about Milwaukee, Wisconsin's, African-American neighborhood ca.1950, co-produced with Prof. Karen Slattery, then of Marquette University, now emerita.
We interviewed a bunch of folks who were kids back then. They told us a poignant story of a segregated, but robust, neighborhood that was demolished for urban renewal and freeway construction.
